Trevas from eBookGuru.org wrote: I’ve read and reviewed some books from big name authors in the past couple months. If you read through my reviews, I’ve posted my thoughts on books from the likes of Terry Brooks, George R.R. Martin, and Mercedes Lackey. Here’s the thing though - Ciara Gold’s Celestial Dragon blows all of them away as far as reading enjoyment is concerned.
From the second page on I was hooked. I was drawn into the story, and not only was I prompted to read the book through in one sitting (as an avid read I do often do that if I find a good book), I also bought the next book in the series the next day. Really, the only thing that disappointed me is that there isn’t yet a third and fourth book in the series! Read the rest here.
"Ciara Gold is an absolute master of world-building. She skillfully peoples her worlds with the types of characters that will live on in a reader's memory forever. Fen Dane is such a character -- it's very rare a warrior-hero of his power, depth and complexity comes along!" Jolie Mathis, author of The Sea King
"Celestrial Dragon is a magical escape into a world of love, adventure, and romance that will have readers looking to the stars for their own perfect hero!" Marjorie Jones, author of The Jewel and the Sword.
"Ciara Gold is magnificent! I had no interest in fantasy romance until I read Celestial Dragon, and I was swept away to another world from the first page. I have no doubt Ms. Gold will be one of the top authors in this genre." Phyllis Campbell, author of Ten Ways to Melt a Man's Heart.
Celestial Dragon was given the Bestselling Novel of 2006 Award from Champagne Books. Wow. What an honor. It was also nominated for the Best Novel of the Year along with three other great books, though it lost to another outstanding Champagne Author.
Gail Pruszkowski from Romantic Times Book Reviews wrote: Gold kicks off an exciting new series with a beautifully written romantic fantasy. Her finely detailed world produces vivid images, and the gripping plot is full of drama and passion, complete with dragons and shapeshifters. Complex characters evoke intense emotions. Readers will ache for a happy ending and eagerly anticipate the next adventure.
